How to target a college demographic?
Hello!
Are you a company or national/worldwide brand that is looking for more or better ways to cater to college students across the United States? Well if you are, you have come to the right place! If you haven't read my other posts, let me introduce myself! I am a new college blogger with a lot of experience in communication, student relations and networking. I attend a private, top-tier liberal arts school in Southern California and have access to over 5,000 students due to its consortium-style setup. I am very active on and off campus and have connections throughout the administration at my school.
Yes, your company probably knows how to cater to the rich sorority girls and frat boys, but how about everyday college students like myself who come from low-moderate income backgrounds and other students who are first-generation? What about students that come from diverse backgrounds such as myself? As the type of students that fit these criteria increase every day, the potential for you to market to them does as well!
When heading off to college, students look for a variety of products and supplies that they need for on campus living! This process can be very confusing and expensive, if students don't know what they're looking for. By working with me, I guarantee to give you feedback (from myself and friends/classmates) about the products that you provide and help you direct your marketing strategy to fit the needs of all college students!
