Review: Northbooks
Hi Everyone!
My next post will be on Northbooks 5x8 Ruled Notebook. If you are a frequent writer looking for a new brand to try, this is the perfect post for you! Northbooks are designed in NYC (Brooklyn) and made in the USA, making them a distinctly American brand. The notebook has a flexible and durable soft cover made out of 30% post consumer kraft paper. There are 96 pages of smooth college ruled, acid-free paper, ecologically sourced and manufactured in the US.
The best thing about this notebook (other than it being US made) is that it is sized small enough to pack along and large enough to write it everything you need down. It works as a travel journal and as a notepad for list making. The high quality paper is a joy to write on, and keeps ink from bleeding across pages. If you look at all of the other reviews on Northbooks' Amazon product page, you will realize how great of a product this is!
When I received this product, I was surprised at how thin, but sturdy the book was. I love writing in gel and ballpoint pens, but I don't love when they bleed through the page. So, I appreciate that the pages in this Northbook. When buying notebooks, journals or diaries I usually look for products that are hardcovers, but Northbooks are definitely the exception. The cover is very sturdy and I love how you can see the wood fibers - it gives this notebook a bit of an artsy touch. I also think it would be really cool to use permanent markers to add a bit of an artistic touch to my notebook, so I think I'll be doing this soon!
Best wishes & Xoxo,

If you use Moleskins, Blueline, Mead or any other type of notebook, Northbooks is definitely an option you should consider trying!
