Reviews: Sports & Fitness Essentials

Hi Everyone,

My next review on this blog is of items that I have been using for my workout schedule. The are the iPhone 5 Sport Band with Credit Card Holder, the Breathable Neoprene Knee Brace, the GuardFit Calf Compression Sleeves, and the RunTasty Ultimate Running Belt!

The first item I received was the RunTasty belt and I am now using this belt on a daily basis! Not only is it used for working out, but it can be used for quick errands around town when you don't want to carry a purse. When I received it, I was surprised at how sturdy and durable it was. Honestly, I was expecting it to be plastic and sort of cheap, but it wasn't! The belt fits flat and smoothly on my waist and is big enough to hold smartphones and even phablets! I usually wear the belt under my shirt, but I have attached pictures to show how well it fits. I enjoy using the complimentary clips that came with the belt because it helps to keep my headphones in place while working out, stretching, and doing everyday tasks. I can definitely say that this is the best money I have ever spent on athletic accessories!

The thing that makes this iPhone 5 sportband different from other sportbands that are out on the market is the credit card holder and the expandable band. Many of the bands that I have previously looked into only fit a certain width, so I would have to place the sport band higher up on my arm, which is a bit uncomfortable. I have the iPhone 4s and it has an Otterbox on it, but I am still able to fit the phone in and use all of the functions that I need to!

Overall, I would say that the knee brace and the compression sleeves are the most essential items to my workouts and practices due to the amount of injury that I am prone to. This knee brace is especially nice because it does not make my knee sweaty like my other pull-on knee brace. Since this brace has straps, I can adjust it often to fit the needs of the activity that I am doing. I usually wear the knee brace when I am doing stretches and warmup activities as that is when I tend to bend my knees the most. I also wear it at night because I often toss and end up in awkward positions that extend my knee. The compression sleeves come in one size, but they fit fine. I think that it would be nice for the company to provide at least another smaller size for people with smaller calves because the difference in calf size differs a lot from men to women. I wear the compression sleeves throughout the entire length of my workout. I tend to have knee issues and shin splints every season and finding reliable products that can help prevent and/or cure these ailments are essential to my progress and success on and off the field!

Best wishes & Xoxo,
